Mount External CD-R/DVD on Laptop USB or PCMCIA??
Recently installed Debian on my little Fujitsu P1120 subnotebook.
With it I have an external CD-RW/DVD drive 'EXP CRWD-2400P'.
I have both a PCMCIA (PC Card) interface cable and a USB interface cable for it.
So can use it either way...also have AC power adapter for drive when using it with
USB...
Anyway, haven't been able to get it running with Debian yet, but would really like to
for both data and audio CD's and occasional DVD usage.
How can I set this up??
Have tried the usual device setup in fstab, but no go yet...perhaps because this is external
not internal device??
Thanks for any help!
