enable autologin in LightDM


hi

Howto enable autologin in LightDM manually, I mean edit config files?

Hi,

did you try /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf? It seems to be very well commented.

Hi,

out of curiosity I installed lightdm (had been using gdm3) and found that the autologin feature is not setup on Debian. See http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=636104

There appear to be a few workarounds though. See for example:

(this is a link in the bug report thread).
