Damn Small Linux 3.01...problem inverted colors screen
Hello everyone .... I have a problem with Damn Small Linux 3.1 installed on PCs Compaq Armada 1530D, 32Mb RAM, 40Gb HDD.
The gaming system runs very well but the screen colors are inverted, white is black and vice versa, and also the other colors do not match
The long alphanumeric string is a checksum number, which we will deal with later. the dsl-x.x.x.iso file is what we are looking for. However, each mirror may have its own md5 hash so be sure to open the text file on the mirror containing the correct hash, e.g., dsl-x.x.XXX.iso.md5.txt.
Choose one of the mirrors listed, and navigate to the "current/" directory.
You should see the dsl-x.x.x.iso file that was listed on the Download page, if you don't, go back on your browser and choose another mirror.
Once you find the correct file, download it. It may take a while on a slow connection.
Once the download is complete, you will need to md5sum it, to make sure you got the whole file.
I checked md5sum of the ISO dsl I have installed and matches
EDIT:
I downloaded DSL 4.0 syslinux and I installed it on the laptop, I must say it is much better than version 3.01 ... the colors are better supported, however, remains the Siag problem that arises with the black cells and does not display my file.xls
Solved:
Problem solved, after installing DSL 4.0 and tinkered a bit I found the right resolution 1024x768 Xvesa 4bit
