hi caleb,

About your cd-burner, you can rebuild your links sg0 and sg1 if they are still missing:

# ln -s /dev/sg0 /dev/sga
# ln -s /dev/sg1 /dev/sgb

If /dev/sga or /dev/sgb are missing too, you can recreate then:

# mknod c 21 0 /dev/sga
# mknod c 21 1 /dev/sgb

Besides, they are a Generic SCSI access, so the most indicate devices you should use are /dev/sr0 and /dev/sr1, because they are SCSI CDROM devices

mknod c 21 0 /dev/sga
but i got

[root@inferna gnemmi]# mknod c 21 0 /dev/sga
Pruebe `mknod --help' para más información.

that's : try `mknod --help' for more information but in spanish

I just opened a neew thread about my cd-rw so we can discuss thing over there if you and Tulio and everyone else want to

Sorry caleb,

I changed the order of parameters of mknod , the correct order is:

mknod /dev/sga c 21 0
