how to install calculatelinux 10.2 to harddisk from live dvd?
Sir,
i have downloaded calculate linux-desktop (CLD) of 1.7 gb, burned it to dvd, booted from dvd. the live dvd operated, but i could not find any option to install the same to harddisk. Normally, livd cd/dvd contains an installation option (icon) on the desktop when the live cd/ dvd is opened and by clicking the icon, automatically the graphical installation process begins. But such an option i could not find in cld and hence i am not able to install calculatelinux to my harddisk.
I am particularly interested in Calculatelinux, as it supports canon printers. For the past one and a half years, i was looking for a linux distro which supports CANON PRINTERS, but i could not find one. Calculate linux supports - as is mentioned in the release notes.
So please help me.
Please help me in explaining how to install cld to harddrive, if it can be graphically installed.(i took 2 days to download the same)
thanks in advance.
regards
kareth

if it could be installed only using a terminal, forget it. (as i have no knowledge of linux commands and that too of GENTOO).
