Can you boot into the live builder disk and then open up a console. In the console:
sudo su
cd /root
cd scripts/
./enteral.sh
Once you are in the chroot environment:
su - <your username inside RAS-OS>
wget
http://libvirt.org/sources/libvirt-2.0.0.tar.xz
tar xf libvirt-2.0.0.tar.xz
cd libvirt-2.0.0
./configure --prefix=/usr
make
make DESTDIR=/tmp/libvirt install
pushd /tmp/libvirt
for f in `find . | sed "s@\.@@g"`
do
sudo rm -r $f
done
popd
That should get rid of the old libvirt. Hopefully, it should clean up the files as well. Then in the same directory:
./configure --prefix=/usr --localstatedir=/var --sysconfdir=/etc && make && sudo make install
That would reinstall the files in the right location.
Now restart the system and should let you log in.
I am not on my system now so I would not be able to test it now. But if you can confirm whether this worked, then I can troubleshoot further once I am at my system in case this fails as well.
