JWM, Puppy's default WM. Together with ROX-Filer's 'pinboard', an unbeatable lightweight combination. (Yeah, don't tell me; I know ROX takes some getting used to....)
^ I tried JWM once - easily configured, lightweight, small package, all good - but it lacks configuration options for keybord navigation (moving & resizing windows).
It got 0 votes last year, and as a result was removed.

I knew I was on the narrow path--the road less traveled--but I didn't realize it was that narrow!
I signed on too late in the year last year to vote: had I been on time, stumpwm would have gotten 1 vote. Realtime hacking the wm is fun; I like learning from the code in other users contributed modules: the fact that there are some proves at least that this narrow path isn't completely deserted.
Thanks, Jeremy, for these polls: always fun part of LQ.
Still using icewm after all these years, fluxbox is second comfy cozy choice. Back when I used wbar and tint2 on fluxbox a bit.
Bling on Window managers used to be fun for me. Still run snowing penguins, still.
in tiling managers, the screen is split, which makes effective use of space.
in fvwm, using the concept of a virtual screen, you can sculpt Windows to the outside;
this is quite convenient.
