View Poll Results: Linux Laptop Vendor of the Year
Dell. They're more affordable by far than most all those listed, and despite only offering Linux on limited systems, still offer more choice than any of those listed.
I have only used dell and hp and they were always delivered with windows and were immediately reinstalled. Probably I will get dell next time again (but who knows the future?).
From the other hand I think the hardware (vendor) is more or less irrelevant. At least for me.
I don't own either but they're doing a lot of great stuff. I have not had any pleasant communication with System76 and quite frankly their policies make me avoid them entirely..
Purism is an embarrassment.

I feel the same way about Sager. Every time I look at buying System76, I find that I can buy a very similar Sager for much cheaper. For example, the Sager NP3146 looks almost identical to the System76 Galago Pro, which is over $100 more.
I appreciate what System76 is doing and I would love to support them, I just can justify it financially.
Distribution: Xubuntu 19.10 on the laptop, Trisquel on the old EeePC netbook

Rep:
I got good service from thelinuxlaptop.com ... installed exactly what I asked for in a dual-boot laptop, using an acer aspire 15.6-inch Intel i5 7th generation.
One of these days I will go all out and buy one from Minifree or Vikings, if only for the Libreboot.

Reason: Links
I have four Zareasons. (One of them is a new laptop I bought to replace my older laptop.)
I've gotten nothing but my money's worth from them, and Zareason lets you pick your distro. Plus I've had a couple of warranty issues and Zareason stepped up to the plate like Babe Ruth.
