Report: update of gcc and gcc-g++ broke obs-studio and k3b
The recent update included gcc and gcc-g++ v14.1. I'm using obs-studio to digitize VHS and cassette tapes and k3b to digitize decades-old cd/dvd discs to rescue them from bit rot (ddrescue to repair unreadable discs). K3b started throwing libavcodec errors and obs started throwing stl_algobase.h stringop-overflow exceeds maximum size errors after the update. I updated to v13.2 from slackware.uk/cumulative. The compile errors vanished.
