Can't Connect to Uni Network on ethernet : "Secrets were required , but not provided " , but works perfectly on WiFi

Hi
I'm having a problem with my University Network..
I can connect to the university WiFi (eduroam) perfectly .
But when I try and connect using the Ethernet in my dorm room I get an error "Connection Activation failed : Secrets were required but not provided" .
Afaik the University uses PEAP and MSCHAPv2 and No CA certificate is required.
I'm using the exact same options and credentials on the Ethernet as I do on the WiFi.
The ethernet worked perfectly on windows using their instructions
where I win+r a directory on the local server and it configured it for me.
Eduroam also doesn't have a CAT tool available for my specific University.

Output from nmcli con up :
Code:
nmcli con up 'Wired connection 1'
Error: Connection activation failed: Secrets were required, but not provided
Hint: use 'journalctl -xe NM_CONNECTION=aacf8fc4-2f4c-304a-9038-14ad5f71324d + NM_DEVICE=enp37s0' to get more details.

Some System Info :
OS: EndeavourOS rolling x86_64
Board: B450M-A PRO MAX (MS-7C52) (1.0)
Kernel: Linux 6.8.9-arch1-2
WM: Hyprland (Wayland)
Edit :
I tried using the Universities "Lan Connection Settings" Guide where they show methods of using cifs-utils
and vpnc

Code:
sudo mount -t cifs -o user=u01234567 //up.ac.za/uplogin /mnt
Which tells me that it can't resolve the adress up.ac.za
and
Quote:
Edit the default.conf in etc/vpnc:
IPSec gateway igp.up.ac.za
IPSec ID GPXAUTH
IPSec secret UPgpauth
Xauth username [PortalUser]
Code:
sudo vpnc
which also tells me that it cant find up.ac.za
Is there anything I can do except wait to buy a better wireless card that can pull more than 10mbps ?
