Nvidia Optimus and dual monitor setup

Hi, I'm currently using Pop OS in my laptop, Asus Gaming TUF F15, that has dual graphics card, Intel and NVIDIA. And the switching between the two is quite easy. But I have been having serious crashes in my system, one that require hard reboot, when using the latest kernels provided. I experimented and found the only kernel version that doesn't cause crashes and have been managing but not entirely happy with it.

So I am thinking of switching over to Slackware, which I have previously used in the past and was extremely satisfied with the experience, I think it was 13.37. Back then I had a PC.

Now I have a laptop that comes with dual GPUs, and I mostly would be using NVIDIA card for my work but without intel running, I can't get the HDMI output to work for the second monitor it seems.

So I wanted to learn how it is done in Slackware and which posts do I follow for the references. If I can get it working in Slackware, then I would switch without a thought as I really enjoyed the stability and simplicity of the Slackware system during my past usage.

Thanks and Regards,
Daulat
