zenwalk freezes when entering graphic mode

Hello everyone

i have a laptop HP pavilion ze2000, I installed zenwalk and everything seems to be going fine until the very end when it says, entering X11 graphic mode, there it freezes and i am not able to do anything...

i have been looking around for solutions but I run out of ideas, i have been using ubbuntu for a while and i am kind of comfortable with linux, but i am no expert.

I would appreciate any help
