upgrading to zen 5.0

I have Zen 4.6.1 on one of my computers.

I would like to install 5.0 on that machine when it becomes stable.

How do I accomplish the installation and keep my current /home partition?

There should be an option during the install to select what partition you want for /, which of course will be formatted, select the partition that has 4.6.1 on it. Then the next option should be to choose a /home partition, choose your current /home, and do not have it formatted.

With every text-based installer that I have used, there at one point or another, you have the option to no format a partition. Just take your time and double check all steps. As well a back-up any critical data.

I just saw that. I figured that if you posted there as well, someone would help out.

I try to keep up on both forums, but the Zen one seems to get to be a bit much much for my time. Glad it all worked out for you.
