Installing with raid mirror drives

Hi All,
I've installed Zenwalk on an old single disk laptop no problem, after repartitioning so I can keep Windows (for now).
But now I want to do the same on a better laptop that has 2 x 100G drives in a raid mirror.
What worries me is that the install asks me to choose which drive I want to use, instead of seeing both as one!
Does Linux/Zenwalk not support mirror drives, or do I have to enter some parameter somewhere?
If I just choose one drive, will the raid system get all hot and bothered when I boot into Windows again?

All help appreciated.
Regards,
Ron
