Vector 7.1 released

I saw on distrowatch news that it had been released. The website wasn’t updated with any news, but there was a download link on distrowatch. I went to install it on my netbook (hp mini 210) and found out it was the 64 bit OS. anyhow it installed ok but no wifi.
Anyone else tryed it out?

The distrowatch page (http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=vector) says that KDE is also one of the desktops available. In that hope, I installed standard version and found that it only has XFCE4. How can I have Vectorlinux with KDE desktop? Can I now install KDE alongwith XFCE4 desktop, to choose from the login screen?

I know they say not to post duplicate but in this case, you may wish to post a new thread on this issue.

Someone would have a good confidence answer for this.

In many distro's you can add in window managers and either it will automatically add it to splash screen or you'd edit some setting to add in the window manager. This assumes more that you use the software manager for that distro. Adding in a window manager from outside that may have you manually editing and updating.
