upgrade to 18.04 via do-release-upgrade

Hi All,

I got from several sites more-or-less following sequence to upgrade to 18.04. ( I am currently on 16.04. And I use "sudo -s" instead of sudo for every command.)

Code:
me$ sudo -s
Password:
root# apt update
root# apt upgrade
root# dist-upgrade
root# apt-get autoremove
root# install update-manager-core
root# do-release-upgrade
When I run "do-release-upgrade" I get
Code:
Checking for a new Ubuntu release
No new release found.
Any ideas? I was under the impression the release was done.
This is on a Dell XPS13 w/ Intel Core i5 processor.

Please read: Upgrading from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS or 17.10. According to that article: "Upgrades from 16.04 LTS will not be enabled until a few days after the 18.04.1 release expected in late July." Additionally, under System Settings" --> "Software and Updates" --> "Updates" --> select "For long-term support versions" under "Notify me of a new Ubuntu version".
