Ubuntu Live USB not working @ dell latitude D800 (BIOS revision A13)

well I made a live Ubuntu 10.10 USB Using Lucid's startup disk creator , but upon booting it stops at boot:\>

how Do I get Over this????

Hi,

Please re-check if you have configured the USB properly.Also confirm your BIOS supports USB boot!

You might try to set acpi=off in the boot command. That is the only way I can get the boot to work on a Toshiba Satellite A665D. On the live disk, there is a choice for "option" (I think it is F6) on the boot disk screen. Using this option, however, means that many things will not work properly, suspend, e.g. In fact, if this option works for you, I suggest that you do not install 10.10 until the problem is fixed.

What USB creation tool are you using? I tried the one that I used for 9.x and it would not work. I had to get the newest one from the Ubuntu
site. Then it worked fine, HP Mini 2133.
