Ubuntu 10.10 loading of modules

Where does one control the loading of modules in ubuntu 10.10 or just in general. I have install certain video drivers and noticed that some were blacklisted and other not. Certain modules are not loading so this is where my question is coming from. thanks

Have a look in the /etc/modprobe.d directory (and the man page). The directory will typically contain a blacklist.conf file amongst other configuration files.

many thanks for the reply. Also I had read that you can load stuff in /etc/rc.local
