Unhappy the writing problem


hi!
i just installed ubuntu 5.04 hoary and i have a big problem at once!
everything what i'm writing look like that
"hhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiii,,,,,,,,,,,,, pppppplllllleeeeeeeeeeeaaaaassssss hhhhhheeeeeelllllpppppppp!!!!!!!!"
what is wrong whit my linux ?

Have you looked at your keyboard settings - maybe the delay for when keys start repeating is set up too high?

i had a same problem before whit mandrake 10, i can't use kde or gnome, just IceWM...
maybe it's gnome problem?
