Exclamation Synaptic Closing Automatically


hello to all Ubuntians

got a problem here ... my Synaptic was working fine the other day but today when i start to use it ... at first it didnt asked for a password ... after then it closed itself/crashed when i selected the programes i wanted to get ! it happened right after i selected a programe ...
there was no error message .
kindly help me on this one as Synaptic is reallly really important

Run it from a terminal instead. It should display the error message that way. Open a terminal and type:

sudo synaptic

open a konsole/terminal

write
sudo apt-get update
press enter

password
press enter

let it update then open synaptic and try your install ...
