Suddenly cannot mount CD on Unbuntu 7.05

While yesterday I burned a CD, this morning when trying to read it I've got the error message:

Cannot mount volume "New"
mount: block device /dev/hdc is write protected
mounting read-only mount: Not a directory

I've tried to read other CD and the message is the same.

My/etc/fstab file shows like this (is the line before the final one incomplete?? I've seen other similar files pasted on forums and that line looks there:
/dev/fd0/media....
):

# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
# /dev/hda3
UUID=f5fa72f9-afb1-48a7-81fb-6b67df9ffe15 / ext3 defaults,errors=remount-ro 0 1
# /dev/hda1

# /dev/hdb1
UUID=3E5F-4D7F /media/hdb1 vfat defaults,utf8,umask=007,gid=46 0 1
/dev/hdb5 /media/hdb2 vfat defaults 0 2
# /dev/hda2

/dev/ /media/floppy0 auto rw,user,noauto 0 0
tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs defaults,ro 0 0

Thanks,
Ema

Thanks,

The third line from the bottom should read:

/dev/cdrom /media/cdrom0 udf,iso9660 user,noauto 0 0

If this doesn't work, try mounting the CD from the command line. In a terminal screen: sudo mount /dev/cdrom /media/cdrom0.

Best of Luck!

I've tried mounting the CD from the command line and got the same message:

mount: block device /dev/cdrom is write-protected, mounting read-only
mount: Not a directory
