Online flash movies (youtube) does not work anymore after updating

Hi,

Since my last update with kpackagekit, flash movies such as youtube does not work anymore. In my browser i get a screen that i'm missing a plugin and it directs me to adobe.com, but the flash plugin is installed. Other sites such as gmail do work with flash.

This problem occurred after updating my system with kpackagekit. In the history, i can see it update flashplugin-installer so I guess it has something to do with this. I also have problems with my opensuse installation since this one updated flash too. Is there some kind of general problem?

Thanx for helping

Youtube may use one of two types of files. If you are sure other sites are using flash (how about you test hulu) then I'd guess it is trying to view in webm.

Let us know if hulu works.

Hi,

sry for the late reply, didn't went online with that pc before today.

Hulu doesn't work neither. It says:
Hulu requires Flash Player 10.0.32 or higher. Please download and install the latest version of Flash Player before continuing.

Hi,
no browser is able to recognise the flash plugin, whilst it is installed.
