Load Error 15

I did some repartioning on my drive to get my free space next to each other, when i rebooted The Grub Loader said Error 15, Is there a place that define Ubuntu Error Codes? and what do you think i could do to avoid this problem in the future. I did the repartitioning in Win XP, with partition Magic 8.0.

Have a look here. Scroll to the bottom for your particular error.

After a bit of googling I *think* you need to reinstall grub to your MBR.

Reinstalled the Grub loader, I have a copy of another OS and its not showing up in the Grub loader choices, only WinXP is, any clues as how to get the OS to show up?

You have to edit grubs menu.lst.

sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst

below the line ### END DEBIAN AUTOMAGIC KERNELS LIST there should be a title for the OS, below is just an example I found

title Fedora Core (2.6.11-1.27_FC3)
root (hd1,0)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.11-1.27_FC3 ro root=LABEL=/1 rhgb quiet
initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.11-1.27_FC3.img
title Fedora Core (2.6.9-1.667)
root (hd1,0)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.9-1.667 ro root=LABEL=/1 rhgb quiet
initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.9-1.667.img

you may have a different version, on another partition, and other bootparameters
