irexec --daemon dies after box goes idle.

Running Hardy desktop as a multimedia box. I have an mceusb remote on that, trying to use the keyboard/mouse less...

I have
Code:
irexec --daemon /home/avbox/.lircrc
in my session startup items. After boot irexec does exactly as it should. Launches everything I've put in ~/.lircrc, like Mythtv or mplayer.

When I come back to the box after an idle period, the remote has no effect. I can open a program that uses lirc like Mythtv by keyboard then the remote works fine in that app. But irexec seems to be dead. I have to execute
Code:
irexec --daemon /home/avbox/.lircrc
again from terminal to launch my apps...

Any ideas?

Thanks,
engtech
