Unhappy how to disable usb mass storage in ubuntu ....

which version of Ubuntu? LTS or non-lts?

so its LTS
do you have logging enabled? chceck it in system settings.
if so, please provide log files:
/var/log/boot.log
/var/log/dmesg
/var/log/dpkg.log
/var/log/faillog (without dot)
All of above files should tell us whats wrong with your OS, what - and why - has crashed.

Sorry, this is wrong. NONE of this will tell us why a script has crashed.

OP, WHAT script are you talking about? Post it here, along with whatever message(s) it gave you. Also, what leads you to think that you need to disable USB storage? Did you try putting that question into Google?
