How to change menubar icon?

How I can I change to menubar icon from the default ubuntu icon to something else? I want to get the foot up there 'cause I think it looks cool but I can't figure it out. I have tried changing the icon from the menu when I right click the icon but that doesn't seem to work, thanks for any help.
