Hoary preview wise to use in production environment?

Hey guys just a few questions about Hoary. I'm somewhat new to Ubuntu, used Linux off and on for a few years now. I used Warty for about a week and really liked it. I ended up formatting and install Hoary and I'm really impressed, my wireless works and everything. The only thing is I want to use it to host my website using apache. I'm just curious how stable it is since it's a test. Like when I boot up the screen beeps like 10 times in a row and flashes some message over and over, like as if I typed a command with the -? and it's showing all the things I could type after starting the program. Not a big deal just odd. The second thing is most times when I'm logged in and click log out and select reboot or shut down, the system just freezes for like 5-10 minutes. I usually have to press CTRL ALT BACKSPACE and then it will start to reboot. These aren't major problems but I'm just wondering if it's wise to use Hoary now for webhosting or if I'm being risky with doing that. Thanks so much.

I'm still using Warty right now, so I can't comment on the stability of the Hoary preview. From what I understand the stable Hoary release is scheduled for April. If I were you, I'd just wait a couple of weeks until it's ready.

On the other hand, if all you're planning on doing is running an Apache server I'd stick with Warty. It has been well tested and if you don't need any specific functionality found only in Hoary there's really no need to use it at all.

Good Luck!
