I need to find out how can I update Ubuntu cause I did not do it when I was setting it up, and where can I find the add/remove program and can I set it up as a server??

Add/Remove Programs is only available as a stand alone app in Hoary.
Under Warty you need to use synaptic. Fire up Synaptic and go to Preferences and then Repositries, add a tick to the greyed out deb entries and then click OK and then Reload.
Once it's refreshed the package lists you can do an Upgrade.

You can also do the same from the command line with
apt-get update
and
apt-get dist-upgrade

Can't help you with the server bit I'm afraid.
