Gnome Shell and GDM won't verify password

I have recently installed Gnome Shell on Ubuntu 14.04, and since I switched from LightDM to GDM, GDM or Gnome won't verify my password. It just sits there with the authenticate or login button not clickable after I click it or press enter.

May be a bug.

Boot in rescue mode and do (as root)

dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg

reboot
