Dell Laptops + Ubuntu

I've been contemplating getting a new laptop in a month or so and I was taking a look at the laptops offered by Dell which come with Ubuntu already installed. This seemed great and I was looking forward to ordering one, however it seems Dell does not offer this product in Canada.

They are offered in the US, UK, France, and of recently Europe. Is there any reasonable logic behind this? Canada borders the US and yet we are overlooked?

Does anyone know why this is?

Can't you just buy from Dell USA or a third party vendor and have the product shipped to Canada? There's no law preventing that.

I'm sorry that a great US company kind of forgot about Canada.

Unfortunately the Dell site will not ship to Canada. What third party vendors are there? Otherwise I guess I will have to wait until Dell translates the documentation into Canadian.

Seriously... They'll have to run a script that adds a 'u' after every 'o' in every word. Then they'll have to translate it to french/quebecki. Damned Canadians, hahaha.
