Cool Configuring the Mac Mini...

Well guys,

I have my Mini, I have my trusty Ubuntu Install I have configured apt-get and generally things are beautiful. My main problem is that I have no sound. I'm pretty sure it's a kernel module issue with the open source drivers for Apple's Intrepid Audio setup.

Other than that the install was flawless and the machine just screams. I have noticed a significant lag in GNOME when compared to KDE on this platform. Also compiling is a royal bitch. I think this has more to do with Linux-PPC architectural obscurity rather than anything Ubuntu specific. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

They haven't gotten the sound working on the Mini yet.

Or, if I'm mistaken, there's a weird hack that makes it work. I think the solution is on the Ubuntu forum.
