Authorization Error when installing Ubuntu 13.10

I downloaded and burned an .iso dvd of Ubuntu 13.10, 64 bit, and verified it. The dvd boots, and starts to install (for a few seconds) and then gives me a terminal screen that simply repeats "Authorization Error."

What gives? Any help appreciated.

It's a Gateway DX 4850 computer with i7 cpu and 8 gig of ram.

Can use the Try Ubuntu? if so after you are in choose install,that's what i did, it would stall with a blank screen if i try to install from the boot menu.

I used a differnt network to download a fresh copy and burned that, and it appears to have installed. Thanks.

Now I have other problems, but that's for another post.
