Apt-get update fails

when running apt-get update to refresh my pakage lists i get the following output, the first 2/3 looks normal but then i get a load of errors at the end of the process...

This might help. Are you running a 64-bit machine? Refer to posts #15 & 16. Also note that while I googled for help on this issue using: "mangle: ia32-libs-tools/mangle.cc:402: void mangle(Archlist&, Renamelist&): Assertion `buf_used > 1' failed.", I saw quite a few "bug" claims. Try the search thing and see what else you dig up. I didn't really look at the bug stuff too much. G/L

There are several variables
msg.

The other issue is: I went to Http://hulu.com, then adobe for the flashes . The archive manager had error message to. I'm sure I was able to save to file. This is my 1st day from a crashed hard drive to now. Way cool.
