Red face acidrip wont shutdow pc shutdown


My first post,acidrip works no problem but how do you get it to shutdown the pc when it has finished encoding,I have set it up to cache the files(and delete them when finished)eject the dvd,and all that by saving to the log file,when I select shut down and save it,the log file shows"AcidRip message - shutdown has been set to 1"but it does not shut down,how do I make it shut down?I dont want the pc on all night,please can anyone help

18 view's and nobody knows,come on there must be someone that knows??am I the only person who has this problem??

open your root cli:
type kill <processname>.
