I'm very glad I currently have no need to run Skype on a Linux machine. Are there any working alternatives for both Linux and Windows which don't require a participant to install a VIOP server? I'm worried that should I need to talk over the internet I'll be stuck with the iPad version with no camera -- not the end of the world but possibly annoying.
