The remastered "Ubuntu after a week of customizations" Pinguy OS 10.10 beta 2 has just been released. For those of you who are not familiar with Pinguy: it's an Ubuntu remaster with a lot of useful default applications "built to have eye candy (Gloobus Preview, GNOME Do, Docky, Elementary*) and for every part of it to be user-friendly".

Some poeople couldn't (be bothered to) tweak Debian, so Ubuntu was created. Now it turns out that configuring Ubuntu might still be too much for some people. Sheer madness

isn't tweaking kind of the whole point of any linux distro????

Yes, it definitely is. Mind you, sometimes, however, we tend to overlook some other (less important) function of a linux distro, ie. that of a desktop OS, LOL
