LXer: Developer fixes 33-year-old Unix bug

n OpenBSD developer has discovered and fixed a bug in the software that has been traced back to an AT&T version of Unix from 1975. OpenBSD is a variant of the Berkeley Software Distribution (BSD), a widely used, open-source, Unix-like operating system. BSD's variants include OpenBSD, FreeBSD and NetBSD, and it forms the basis of Apple's Mac OS X operating system.

Just goes to show what kind of stuff you find when you're obsessed with "correctness". This is why I love OpenBSD.

Developer fixes a 33-year Bug

Wow, It amazing that the bug has been undected for 33-years!
I wonder how many more bugs that are still out there come from the
early days of UNIX? Does anybody know what the bug was in(Kernel,X11,Applications,Compilers).
