There are pros and cons of Linux and Windows. As for me, Linux is more suitable for working as a programmer, but Windows is much more convenient for ordinary use. You need to decide what you need this system for. I was looking for good gaming laptops under 500 for ordinary use, mainly for games, but also for work, too. I installed the Windows system on the spot and I'm happy with everything. Some believe Windows 7 was the best version, but I asked to install me 10.
