VMware and SUSE 10.2; sound, usb, graphics

Hello,

I've recently installed SUSE 10.2 which is working very well for me on my presario v2000 laptop. I also installed the VMware server .rpm hoping to use windows 2000. I can't seem to get sound or usb working on my virtual machine. I've been searching on the forums for a how-to but to no avail.
Can anyone suggest an easy to follow guide on using VMware? Also, am I right in thinking that I should be able to update the drivers within my virtual machine?

Not sure about the sound, but the usb cannot be mounted in linux and windows VM at the same time. There are ways to choose which hardware to make available in VM, but this would also mean disabling the automount in suse.
What I have done is set up a share folder with samba, for transferring files between suse host and windows vm.
A google search will bring up plenty of howto's.
