Update from command line

Hi All,

I'm using SUSE with the following details:
kerenel: 2.6.16.27-0.9-smp
Release: SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 (x86_64)
VERSION = 10

I'm trying to find a way to update from command line so I can use a script to update this machine.

Is that even possible?
1. Running online_update outputs "command not found"
2. Running yast online_update start a graphic CLI window which I can't use.

Thanks In Advance,
Tzach

zypper is the command line tool for package management in SUSE. use man zypper for more information.

I believe, you can use zypper update for updating but I am not sure.

"SUSE Linux Enterprise Server " is not a free OS you are paying for support ( if not then NO updates)
have you looked on the novell site ?
