UnInstall SLED 10 Mouse Driver?

Hi,

I've had tones of problems lately with the touchpad on my Alienware laptop. Just got it back from Alienware because I thought it was a hardware problem. They have assured me all is well with the touchpad. (I sent it back sans hard drive so they tested it in WinSuck)

So, I installed the KSynaptics driver from SuSE 10.1 to no avail. I read some almost sililar problems with touchpads on other distros here, so I want to completely uninstall the built-in Gnome driver and see if the KSynaptics driver does it.

If I just right-click on the "Mouse" in the SLED 10 Control Center and choose "Uninstall" will that COMPLETELY remove the old Gnome driver?

I'll then add KSynaptics to my Start programs and hope it goes away....

Thanks,
