Unhappy Unable to detect USB storage device in SLED10

i just bought a phone that can act as a USB Mass Storage, Webcam, and COMPort. it has a mini-SD card. everytime i plug the phone to a usb, my phone ask me if i use "mass storage","webcam",or "com port". all of these options are not detecting. i want these option to detect in my system(never mind the com port) and i cant find any solution in the web.

i already tried usbview and lsusb and it is still not detected. i tried to watch /var/log/messages by unplugging/plugging it but there is no new entry. i am wishing that there is an error entry on /var/log/messages so i could fix it.

i also tried to manually mount the usb but the /dev/sda* using mount -t auto /dev/sda* /mnt/usb/ but the mounting is my hard-drive files.

i tried to connect my phone in a winXP and there is no problem. it detects as all options as generic. the 3 options are working properly using the default software in winXP.

phone/usb=ZT168
OS=SLED10

i hope you could give me any slight idea on how to detect my device.
thanx in advance...
