SuSE 9 Install Freezes when swapping CDs during VMWare based Install

Hi guys, I recently bought myself a new machine for setting up VMware test environments. I am currently running Windows 2003 with VMWare Workstation 5.5 and while attempting to install Suse 9.0 under VMware, but my system freezes each time I need to change the CD. I didn't have this problem under Windows 2000/VMWare 5. Has anybody run into this issue?

Nope, hows the memory setting on your VMware? Have you tried to create the drive on VMworkstation and go for VMPlayer instead? Just a suggestion. I only use VMPLayer cuz its free and you can make vmdk's with qemu.

Thanks crazibri, I don't have a problem with the CD during boot up and installation, it's only when swapping CDs during the installation that causes the whole machine to freeze. The memory is set to 512MB of RAM and the CD is ident as IDE in the configuration.
