SUSE 10.2 64bit blocks after login

Hi,

I installed an openesuse10.2 - 64bit on my Computer. The installation went fine, except that Linux did not recognize the Attansic - Networkadabptor The System boots, I can introduce my login details, but the the system just freezes in, no reaction anymore. Anybody knows what the Problenm could be and how to get how to get into KDE ? Ialso tried FedoraCore, same problem, I tried different Live-CDs, incl. 32bits, they did not work either. WinXP is no problem on this computer, works fine.

MySystem:

MAINBOARD: Asus K2V (inc. Attansic L1 Gigabit Ethernet)
PROCESSOR: AMD Athlon 64 3200+
RAM: 1x Kingston 1GB 667Mhz
GRPHICS: Asus NVIDI GeForce 7100GS
HDD: Master: Maxtor IDE 40GB (here are a partition for the windows system and the /root for opensuse)
Slave: Seagate Barracuda IDE 120GB (Windows Data - Partition and /home for opsensuse)
