I am new to Linux and I am trying to install a Belkin F5D7010 PCMCIA card on an Elite G713 notebook (Athlon 1900-M/512M RAM/ATI Radeon 9000-M9 Graphics Card). I am running SuSE Personal 9.1.
I have installed ndiswrapper and the Win XP drivers but when type modprobe ndiswrapper I get the following message:
FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.4-52-default/modules.dep: No such file or directory
Looks like you may not have the kernel source installed. Have a look at Linux Tutorials>Networking , NdiswrapperHowToforSuSE9+. It's fairly detailed and should get you going. I use the same card in one of my laptops.and it went in fairly easily, after the 15th try! Hence, the HowTo.
