personally all I do is I have a file that I just called firewall, and all my rules are defined within. I give the file executable permissions, and I add it to my local startup script. On my system the file is located at /etc/rc.d/rc.local , and basically all you do in that file is just type the command on a line of its own for what you want to execute. Not sure about Suse personally cause I never used it, but some common places are :
/etc/rc.d/rc.local
/etc/rc.local
This may point you in the right direction if Suse uses one of those files, or a Suse user may tell you exactly how they do it.
