How to install Modem Aztech internal modem MSP3880-U.


I have finally got hold of the linux drivers for my aztech internal modem MSP3880-U in the tar.gz format.

How do i install and setup the dialer and how should I go from here?







P.S.
For those who are looking for these these drivers, it is now at avaiable at aztech's ftp site, but take note that the connection is not stable, always drop. Anyway feel free to contact me and I'll mail it to you :-)

Most linmodem drivers set the modem as /dev/modem. Without knowing which distro / wm you're running, you need to setup the dialer (for example kppp if running KDE) to point to /dev/modem.

sorry but the drivers does not work

I have long trash them an is now using an external modem
