Does yast package manager have a cache?
I was in the process of upgrading from suse 10.0 to factory and accidentally unplugged the computer. When I booted suse up again there was all sorts of problems and I couldn't run anything, which I assume was becasue of the upgrade being interrupted.
At the point it was unplugged, nearly 2 gig of packages had been downloaded so the question is, does yast store the packages in a cache before installing them like apt does? If this is the case I can just move those packages to another partition and restore suse from a backup then move them back and do the upgrade again without having to download everything from scratch.
So far I have been unable to find anything so I fear all is lost.
