Also, whenever I load the Smart package manager, the gtk themes work correctly! It is the only GTK program that loads the entire theme.

Any ideas?
I have an idea, but I have commitments. Gimme a few days to respond. k?

Solved

Google this, ppl: Gtk Theme Switch

There should be a link to a Freshmeat entry for an application which allows users to change GTK themes (used in apps like XChat or Firefox). Here is that link:http://freshmeat.net/projects/gtkthe...lease_id=85497

And here is the corresponding description of the app which I am duplicating here for keyword sake:
Quote:
Gtk Theme Switch 2.0.0rc2 (Default)
About: GTK Theme Switch is a small and fast command line utility to switch GTK themes on the fly. It also has an optional GUI to preview the requested theme and change the font used with it, an optional GUI dock, and it can install themes downloaded from gtk.themes.org, preview them, or switch to them immediately.
Here is a link which (sort of) demonstrates the app: http://www.muhri.net/nav.php3?node=gts

btw: sorry for the late response.

edit: added apology
edit: formatting
