13.2 Over Windows 10 Tech Review

I have the 13.2 DVD

And am trying to install over Win 10

Everything goes through until the last step - installing Repository.

Then it says cannot find a repo on the dvd and offers me a choice between loading from a CD or a DVD, but no option to go to the network. I don't have a repo on CD or DVD. Can I do this ???

Then the install aborts.

Anyone got any ideas ??

I know, I know, I'm old and stupid har har

Pete

No, you're not. Don't belittle and condemn yourself. I come against this attitude in the community that seems to say that unless you're a Linux genius and can do impressive things with code, you're a nobody!

If you can boot live, then what I found here might solve the problem. Read through the thread, particularly post #13. Apparantly, there's some kind of problem or bug with that release.

Otherwise, you can try version 13.1 and see if that works.

Regards...

Thank you for your concern, but please don't be concerned. I also ride 30 year old m'cycles around the roads of northern Luxembourg, which are somewhere between bloody dangerous and downright lethal.

A hair on the arrogant side would about cover it [smile]. I am 66 and been around the block a bit.

Thank you. I think I'll try 13.1 and see how we go. Given the workload it's gonna take me a couple days, maybe into next week to get this done, but I start now.

Thanks again for your help.
